The latest waterpark, Ice Land, opened in mid-2011 in Ras Al Khaimah. Attractions include Penguin Falls (the world's tallest man-made waterfall), Penguin Bay (a rain dance pool), Arctic Slides and Tundra Baths.
'The World's Largest Swimming Lesson' in association with World Waterpark Association saw participation of tens of thousands of kids over 700 locations across 5 continents to splash and flutter-kick their way to a fourth consecutive Guinness World Record to help combat childhood drowning.
